What restaurants are participating and what food options will be offered?
We are partnering with two Geneva restaurants to cater our meals: Livia Italian Eatery and Nobel House. In the wake of a difficult 2020, we wanted to team up with area establishments and support local. Both will offer a three-course meal (appetizer, salad, and choice of entree).
Livia: Chicken Limon or Braised Short Rib -OR- Nobel House: Roasted Chicken or Center-Cut Sirloin
Do my spouse/partner and I need to order from the same restaurant?
Because of the logistical challenges of delivering to all guests in a short window of time on the evening of the Gala, we are only able to deliver from one restaurant per delivery address. Think of it like a date night, where you wouldn't dine separately.
When will food be delivered?
For those guests within our defined delivery area (Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles), we will do our best to have meals arrive prior to the start of the program.
How do I view the program?
The Gala can be accessed through a computer, mobile device or tablet. A link will be sent to all registered participants prior to March 20.
What is a watch party and how does it work?
Depending on your comfort level, you may invite family/friends into your home to watch the Gala together. Tickets will be needed for each guest who wishes to bid on items or make a contribution.
Is there a dress code?
Although there is no official dress code for our virtual fundraiser, we encourage guests to be creative and get into the spirit of the night. Show us your ruby slippers. Go fancy. Keep it casual. Dress as your favorite Oz character. No matter what you decide to wear, we'd love to see it! Take a photo and share with us on social media. Tag @tricityfamilyservices and use #NoPlaceLikeHome.
How can I make a donation or bid on an item?
We are using mobile bidding software provided by GiveSmart. Browse and bid on items using a computer, mobile device or tablet. Guests may donate at any time throughout the program. You may also make a contribution on the agency website.
